Question 1: Why does nothing show after I have connected successfully?

Your problem is mainly caused by the wrong settings of the input of mobile port, 
 
You should input mobile port, but it is different from the web port.web port is 80. You can find it in your DVR settings such as “Mobile settings” or “Network configuration”, or somewhere else like these. You can also ask your DVR seller for help because it’s normally fixed by them. Please check it to make sure that it's right. 
 
 
Question 2: Why can I view my DVR device only via 3G but not Wi-Fi?

For your problem, it’s the instability of the network, resulting in this issue. Please check your Wi-Fi settings. You should pay attention to the status of your wireless network which often causes the problem. 
 
Question 3: Why can I view my DVR device only via Wi-Fi but not 3G?

Please consult your wireless operator if your 3G is CMNET mode or not. We only support CMNET and don’t support CMWAP. 
 
CMNET is DVR connect mobile through base station directly. CMWAP is DVR connect mobile through base station and gateway. Please go on Google within the APN settings. It required the filled to be filled in with the 3G provider’s details, once you put the information in the app worked in 3G. 
 
If you want to use 3G, please use the extern IP or DDNS instead of the local IP when you are at your work, because the local IP for your home Wi-Fi can’t be connected when you are out. You also need map out your port for mobile from your router. 
 
If you choose "3G" in the "Network Type", APN is required to be filled, which could be found in "Options-Advanced Options-TCP/IP" under System OS 5.0 and in "Options-Device-Advanced System Settings-TCP IP" under System OS 6.0. 
 
We should point out that our MEye series of app can be supported via 3G. There are two way for 3G. DVR connect mobile through base station directly; DVR connect mobile through base station and gateway. We should point that we can only support the first method, and you should consult ISP about 3G service. 
 
 
Question 4: why can I connect to the DVR device via neither 3G nor WiFi? 
 
It is mainly caused by the wrong IP, and the LAN IP is invalid on Internet. You should input your external IP, or your DDNS. You also should pay attention to the mobile port that is often input incorrectly; a port beginning with 80 is normally the Web port, but not the mobile one. If it's difficult for you to input the settings, you can ask your DVR seller for help because the settings are normally fixed by the device manufacturers.
