Questions 1:Why does the software show “unsupported device”?

Unsupported device

Firstly, it is notable that our software only supports certain DVR models which are compatible with us, so you should demander your DVR manufactory if your DVR can be supported by our series software, if the error message is "unsupported device", maybe our software can’t run properly on your device or mobile.

Secondly, the devices from different manufacturers need to use the corresponding software; you should read the instructions to make sure that you have used the appropriate one.

Question 2: Why does the software show “connection time out”?

Connection time out

The problem of connection time out of the app for Blackberry may be caused by the following possibilities:
1. Your Software needs to be updated, and we have released the latest version, please check it and update your apps;
2. Your network status is not good enough for running the app, and you can visit certain Website to confirm the situation;
3. Your settings of IP, mobile port, or username and password maybe are not correct. Please check them according to the instructions to make sure that they are right.

Question 3: Why does it always show fail to connect?

Fail to connect

Probably your problem is caused by the settings of IP, please use the extern IP or DDNS instead of the local IP when you are at your work, because the local IP for your home Wi-Fi can’t be connected when you are out, some IP likes 192.X.X.X is invalid, which is LAN IP. You should apply for a DDNS or a static external IP.

80 is web port and you should also input mobile port which is different from web port. If it's difficult for you to input the settings, you can find it in your DVR settings such as “Mobile settings” or “Network configuration”, or somewhere else like these. Different DVR manufactory set different rules, such as15966, 34599, and 8888. We don’t know your mobile port. You can ask your DVR seller for help. Please check it to make sure that it's right.

Besides, you have to map your port out for mobile from your router. Please visit this link:

Question 4: Why does the software show “invalid user”? And how should I input?

Invalid user

First of all, it is notable that our software only supports certain DVR models which are compatible with us, so you should demander your DVR manufacture if your DVR can be supported by our Meye series of software. Besides, the devices from different manufacturers need to use the corresponding software; you should read the instructions to make sure that you have used the appropriate one.

If you have got the error message "invalid user", which means there is something wrong in our input of your username and password, you can reset your DVR settings. The default settings for them are “admin” and “admin”, or you can ask your DVR seller for help.

Questions 5: Why does the software show “max user”?

Max user error

“MAX USER” has been caused by the DVR settings. The problem of “max user” may be caused by the following possibilities:

1. DVR only supports 1 user to view single channel. If you add 2 or more channel to interface, then the software will have this problem.

2. DVR can not only support 1 user to view single channel but also can support 1 user to view multi-channels. You need change some settings, if DVR settings do not default 1 user to view multi-channels. Please consult DVR seller to settle the problem.

3. You should not add channels more than the ones supported by the DVR. For example, DVR can only support 1 user to view 3 channels. If you set 1 user to view 4 or more channels, the software will have this problem.

Cannot support multiple cameras (max user error)

Your problem is mainly caused by your DVR can not support multiple cameras, please ask your DVR seller to update your DVR, if the version of your DVR is not too old, but mostly according to the system performance.
